Review: The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina

I decided to stay in the Marina area of Dubai this trip and ended up selecting the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina located on Jumeirah Beach.

Checking in
The checking in process went very smoothly. I arrived very late at night and got to the hotel about 1 am. The person at the front desk had me checked in and on my way in about 5 minutes.

The room

I stayed in Room 308 which was quiet during my entire stay.

The entrance

The first thing I noticed was there was a crib in my room for some reason. I don’t know if someone forgot to take it out or whether that crib was reserved for someone else but I just wheeled it out into the hallway and notified the front desk.

The room has a nice balcony.

The breakfast buffet

The breakfast buffet was expansive with enough variety to please anyone.

Fresh vegetables

Fresh fruit

Various yoghurts

I ended up having a fresh omelette, some hash browns, bacon, and some yoghurt. I’ve actually been trying to eat a lot less and selecting healthier items – it’s still a daily struggle.

A sensible breakfast?

The dining area

The pool and beach area

The pool area

There were plenty of seats all around with areas in total seclusion for maximum quiet and an adult only area for those who don’t want to be around children.

Available activities

The entire beach area was well taken care of with plenty of seating.

Final thoughts
The Westin Dubai did everything right during my stay. The rooms were modern and quiet. The food was top notch. The pool and beach area never felt crowded and were kept up the entire time. I would stay at this hotel without hesitation.
