My wife just received a targeted offer from British Airways to spend $2000 in the month of October, November, and December to receive a bonus of 5000 points.
That’s a pretty hefty spend requirement for that kind of bonus but more puzzling is why British Airways decided to send it out on October 29th? If I wanted to participate, I would have exactly 3 days to spend $2000. I’ll pass.
Yes, we got the postcards for this a day or two ago as well. Silly timing. The same offer had already reached us a few weeks earlier, though, by email, so at least we were able to register in good time.
