The first half of the bracket is complete. The winners of the part of the first round are: Virgin America, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand, Etihad Airways, American Airlines, British Airways, and Lufthansa.
No major upsets though it was interesting that Air New Zealand crushed Air Canada. According to the commentors on the post, this wasn’t an upset. Cathay Pacific garnered the most votes of anyone.
On to the second half of the first round!
